tail lights for my current build...

Found these neat tail lights. They are LED, 1 3/8 diameter X 1 3/4 long sealed in an aluminum housing. You can end mount them or flat mount them. I will house them in a piece of thinwall tubing, slash cut to put a tiny hood over them for protection, yet allow them to be seen from the side.. They will be mounted on top of my fender. I like modern lighting, for visability and dependability, but it's hard to find a modern design that lends itself well to customizing. However, there's a heap of ways to make these real cool.. BTW: These have clear lenses, but naturally, light up red as it's a tail light...

L.E.D. Bulbs

I found you can get the bayonet type bulbs that are made out of l.e.d.s.

They are pretty cheap....like under 5 per bulb. Sort of like the 1157 bulbs but bigger in the glass area....but will last a lot longer.

L.E.D.'s are polar specific.... so if you have a positive ground....they will not work....unless you take them apart and switch the leads. (so they are a little bit of a pain on a british bike....unless it is wired with a negative ground)

Those look pretty cool Bill.....

it is good to be seen!!!!!!!

Hey Bill, are you going to run one or both?
One would be cool, like a small Lucas...
Checked out the link, those look like a quality unit.
