Finally got the front end back together... I'm gonna like the bars. Looks a little funny w/o the tank, but you get the idea...



This'll be year 3 for this paint job. I still can't believe the quality of the 4 color Cali Kid paint job Eric did up Hooty's way. Very inexpensive, too.



Almost 20K of sandblasting and grit and elements, still looks like new. See this young man's stuff at

Lez Zeppelin is doing a show on July 13 in Ferndale. Haven't seen 'em in two years... Steph Paynes (lead guitarist) got her new bandmates... the lead singer is a sexy sleazy babe... can't wait to see the new lineup.

Going to ride up, stay with my brother... take the long way home...

Chat with Steph all the time on FB. Neat lady... 90 lb. dynamo, and can throttle a Les Paul... she literally channels Jimmy. Neat to see.

Yup... here it is March again... and again, I roll the bike over to the (still) empty house across the street for the photo op, "cause the concrete is new.

And yes! It was drizzling.

And Yes! I went for a ride.

I like the bars.



New bars, grips, throttle & idle cables, new clutch cable, new brakes, front rotor (thanks Mike) 35K service, new rear Metzeler.

And as soon as I can get 'er to Mike's shop Tuesday, she'll have new cam chain tensioners. I got cold feet... best left to professionals.
