A Hood named Shorty

I thought I would update you guys on a project that I am working on. What we have here is a 41 Chevy 1.5 ton truck. The first thing we done was remove about 2 tons of unnecessary weight. We hand crafted a Z'd 6"/18" frame and are starting to install model A springs front and rear..

I hope you enjoy it as much as I am....

Here is a set of 4 links that I flame cut and ground for the truck. They were pretty fun to build. The sleeves over the bolts will be recessed into the frame and welded in.

Here are the latest pics... I am waiting for the front end parts to arrive before I can officially get it to roller status.

looking really good, I like the look. I had a 37 chev but traded it for a shovelhead..

got a 55 ford that I also traded for a shovehead. My daily driver is a 64 Ford F100 short stepside bed...
