Seems to me I remember it being a real bear to change the two rear spark plugs.

my old man had a 429 cobra jet motor sitting under the workbench for yeears in pieces, then finally got rid of it, and bought all his welding equipment. :P

The Boss 429 is the baby to have, very rare.

My B-in-law had a 428 Cobra jet back when I was in HS(yea...a lotta years ago), and it was a huge PIA to change out the two rear plugs. Had to take the engine mounts loose and jack up the motor.

Re: It's not everyday...

I think that was the first boss 429 i've ever seen in the flesh. Ford was notorious for building kick ass specialty stuff, just didn't make many of them. My all time favorite is still the cammer which i've never seen a real one up close. Made the hemi boys shutter.
