My new project

Well I swore it would be a long long time until I ever restored another car but Ted (enfield) and I stubled across this gem and I just couldnt resist. I have always had a soft spot for these but they are very hard to find around these parts. I plan on a modern hippy style of restoration and just have a fun weekend driver. As a bonus I also got a 67 econoline panel van (parts van) that I will scrounge alot of parts off of and then scrap. I guess my winter project has been found! LOL Groovy........

Re: My new project

Far out man !!

I love those. I had a 65 Dodge panel van at one time, never should have sold it.

Re: My new project

Rare as hens teeth around these parts. Banking on a 2 yr build. Should be fun! Ted (enfield) even donated some period perfect wheels for it!

Re: My new project

Well that is cool. I think they are rare as hen's teeth anywhere as they were not that big a seller back in the day and alot of them recieved big time abuse. Also rot was an issue because of their construction.

I have buddy doing up one of those, making it an extended cab cause he's 6'7" and needs leg room and tubbing the rear wheel wells. I will try and grab a few pics of his next time I see him (not very often anymore) and post them up.

Of course when your done with the van/truck you will have to build a matching bike for the back. oops, another project.
