dusting off a project
Well, after 3 years of toiling on the Enfield, but still needs a few things, i noticed a project i started about 5years ago and basicly forgot about it. A 70 Torino GT convertable. 351 cleavland m-code. w/ cobra shaker. I managed to find NOS 1/4 panels for it on ebay years ago. Probably the last 2 in the world, and had to pay handsomely for them as well. Repro parts don't exist for this car. 3636 rags built i believe. most were 302 cars. So, it's kinda rare. Pic is the way i bought the car about 9 yeaers ago. I'll post a few build pics to bore yall, as i go.

Re: dusting off a project
Oh, man! My hat's off to ya, Enfield! Bringin' back one is a good thing... especially if it aint a Chevelle or a Camaro!
15 years ago,I inherited a '73 Ranchero off my dad; low miles but had some cancer. Bodyman buddy of mine offered to help me fix it up. I'd drive to Karls' on Friday night, and we'd fix only what we could do that weekend, as it was my driver.
This is where I learned that there are few parts for blue oval stuff if it ain't a Mustang. Combed every junkyard in Indiana for donor doors.
It had a 351 C and even tho it was an air-choked 2 bbl, it was a stump puller.
That tach is cool! Never seen that in my life!
Keep us posted on this build!!!

Re: dusting off a project
So you forgot you had a convertable sitting in your garage. I'm going to take a look out in my garage too to see if there is a convertable in there that I forgot about. Or maybe a 36 knuck that I restored back in the 60's (pretty sure I never did that but it was the 60's we're talking about) and forgot I owned it. Or maybe I didn't sell my 1969 AMX, my 50 Panhead, my 31 Model A Coupe or my 1950 Matchless 500 and they are still sitting over in the garage and I just forgot about them. I'll check and get back to ya'll.
Good luck on the project.
