Hey, bcc! Check this out!

This is my first car... '38 Chevy 2 door Master Deluxe. Had it in high school. All original. Stovebolt 6. dude had an air cleaner larger than the engine in my Pontiac Vibe!

This was taken in roughly 1968 or '69...

Ha!

Dudes at school called me Elliot Ness.

Bought it when I was 16... the old man thought it was safe 'cause when you got up to 45 mph or so, the valves would sort of float open. Built-in road speed governor.

Boys, I got laid in this ride!

bcc... sorry for the hijack... can't wait to see your pics!

Re: 38 chevy

And is that an FLHS with fairing and touring pack sitting there next to the 51? I see you like the classics. What year is the red bike?

Re: 38 chevy

It's a 85. here is what it looks like now. + i had to go thru the motor. there was a bolt from the air cleaner came loose and went into the rear cyclinder. bent 2 valves, stuck in the head ,busted a piston, and bent a rod!!! it has now went from a 80 ci to a 89 stroker with roller rockers,EV 27 cam, true daul's and a CV carb. I also molded in some speaker inclosures in the faring with fiber glass and put a 50 watt amp under the seat and run it with an MP3 player ...yea i like classic chevys and hd's mostly but i appreciate cool cars and good work on any thing.. i had a 64 chevelle that made super chevy mag about 10 years ago. took a 2 door hard top 6 cyclinder green granny car and turned it into a big block,SS interior, hugger orange with 67 hood bubbles welded into a 64 hood. sold it while my boy was racing MX
