panshovel tat

This is the pan-shovel tat I got last year. My only regret is putting it where everybody but me can see it (shoulder blade).

I was there about 3 to 3 1/2 hours, but that includes drawing the flash and a few breaks. The detail still impresses me.
It was done by Richie Pan at Dark Star Tattoo in NJ. He also does illustrations in a biker rag or two.

Re: panshovel tat

First he'll try and talk you into getting a pan head tattoo LOL I compromised, I originally went in to get a shovel engine and left w/ a pan-shovel.
He'll draw you exactly what you want too, he asked which generator cover I wanter, stock or split rockers, and what kind of air cleaner.
Richie's a great artist and a good guy, he also throws one helluva bash called Panfest every year.
