what a rip off
I have Dish network, had it set up for 4 TV's (rooms) at my old house. I moved called and they said no problem we'll fix you up at the new place same way, well tech gets here today and one of the rooms at the new place will need a cable run to it, tech say not on my work order no can do, called Dish, they said $50 bucks to have it done salesperson should have told me that...what crap !!!! I told them no problem then in 30 days than can HAVE their dish back.........
and to make matters worse, the so called "tech" had not left the driveway more two minutes and the TV screen went blank and a note popped up "signal completely lost" so i quickly called the guys cell number, he comes right back trys a couple things and nothing, then he goes to remove the coax from the wall and its so hot it blisters his fingers, when he finally gets it unscrewed a BIG spark jumps between the connector and the coax cable he checks it and the coax is showing 110 volts..WTH !!!!! he goes back under the house and runs a completely new coax and all is fine then...I have no idea what he connected to the first time, but if the receiver box had not over heated and popped up that message it could have gotten hot enough to catch the friggin wall on fire. Needless to say when they called back for the survey ( a real person called ), I let'em have it in both ears !!!!
