Storms in the US

Just was reading about the series of storms that spanned 6 states, the mayhem and deaths that it caused. Wow, what a terrible blast of spring weather. I sure hope no members from here were effected by it.

It sure was wicked what they got. Make sure you are ready if something brews your way.

Re: Storms in the US

We made it ok, but it blew a large tree down right across my truck windshield and when it broke the top part of the tree took off the passenger mirror on my brothers truck.

the crazy part was the afternoon before was beautiful and I wanted to get out early the next day so I turned my truck around in the driveway before I went to bed. If I had just left it parked like it was it would have hit the capper top on the back and not my windshield.....

Re: Storms in the US

Luckily New Jersey is in a part of the US where we get little of the bad stuff (other then outragious taxes) and rarely a tornado and that's just fine with me (not the tax part). My wife and I always thought we would retire in a place like western North Carolina, now we're lookin elsewhere.
