A great in top fuel drag racing has passed. The video is on youtube if you care to catch it, it was a terrible wreck.

OH NO, that's a shame. A very inherantly dangerous sport takes the best of them sometimes. Is his dad Conny still around i wonder.

Yes, Connie is still alive and well. Apparently is not taking Scott's passing well, understandably

I read that earlier today. I feel really bad for his father and all of his family and freinds. I watched Connie run at Old Bridge (known locally as Englishtown or just Raceway Park) back in the 60's and 70's, I still go there now and then but am not a regular like I used to be.

He started his career at Old Bridge and it ended there. The cars now are so fast I don't know how they stay in control.

8000 hp and well over 300, when will it end. It sure was sad to here about Scotts accident. I talked to Connie a few times in the pits at a few drags I used to attend, nice guy.
