Re: President Elect Obama

Been a supporter of the guy for a couple of years. We'll see how things work out, but I have a much higher level of confidence in an Obama/Biden administration than I'd ever have in a McCain/Palin administration.

Re: President Elect Obama

Don't know why anyone would not have confidance in a man like John McCain but I guess we all form opinions. I was not a supporter of Barrack Obama but hope it all works out well for our country.

Re: President Elect Obama

It's gonna be interesting, and probably entertaining.

Our new president, if nothing else, doesnt act, or talk like a standard politician............and that is a good thang'.

I've been so bored trying to listen to 'out-going' President Bush, for 8 dern years.

OBama, has a way of getting, and keeping ones' attention, that's how to get public suppport, and without the public's support, Presidents don't usually get much work done.
On 60 minutes last night, they were saying the Obama campaign was the most organized in recent history, and that Obama was mostly in charge, that speaks well of him, to me.
And think about it, the world has seen us elect a Black Man, and a man with a name like Obama, I sincerely think good times are ahead.

I just hop, the DowJones investors, get back to buying some of the good buys...and jump start my IRA........<g> StaggerLee.

Ditto.

One thing that's concerned me from the beginning of this whole election is the fact that countries that have hated America for years support Obama.....

Wait.... see.... buy more guns and ammo just in case.

Re: President Elect Obama

We will all wait and see. Although I didn't vote for him he is my President now and will support him as much as possible as long as I feel he has this countries best interest at heart.

Re: President Elect Obama

I did not really care for either choice..... I liked things from both sides and also have trouble believing both sides..... But that is always the case with all the promises before the election!!!!!! No one ever puts the REAL plan on paper for all to really see..... so best we can do is hope for the best!

It is a change for sure......

Wasn't really that big of a landslide if you consider the popular vote! which really is....out of 100 people...... 52 wanted Obama...... 46 wanted McCain and the rest were "other"! The electoral votes certainly were different (349 to 163).... But the popular vote kinda says something different! Still Obama won!

I hope he can do some of what he says he wants to do..... and I hope it doesn't cost me more money ..... I am a "doubting Thomas"...... time will show us!

He has a real mess on his hands...... I hope he prays every night for help!
