I HATE SNAKES!!!!!!!!! My g/f has a cabin at okanagan lake here in b.c. and her little one (6 or 7) was swimming and a rattler swam towards him, got up in that bite position mouth wide open... and he is screaming and mum can't get to him and out of nowhere his big bro (16) runs on the peir n jumps on top of the rattler!!!! WOW!!!!! he was on the news and everything!!! cause he saved his little bros life.. he was asked why did he do it, he just said cause hes my bro and i love him and i may have survived a bite from this guy because i am a big guy, but Riley is little and it prob would have killed him!!! it was wild!!!!! their last name is Toporowsi..if u wanna google the news story.. showed all over Canada n the states...

Those two are idiots.......they deserve to be bitten....
apparently they are two stupid to know the strike range is about 2 times the body length.....most fishin poles are less than 6 feet long....
that was not even close to a 6 foot rattle snake.....4 and a half maybe....
to be 6 feet long their middle would be as big as my forearm...
after growing up with them, and spending time in the jungle with em....
I have a healthy respect for em....
What would have been freekin funny was if the snake got in the boat......
abandon ship ehhhhh.......

NJ has all three of the poisonous pit vipers but you hardly ever see any of them, you have to know where to look. The area we have the most snakes is in Trenton (the state capitol). The snakes there wear suits.
And just for the record, I am no big fan of either type of snake. Siuts or scales they're both dangerous.

I just so happen to love snakes mostly there skins but i won't kill one just for it's skin but if I was like Bear Grills on man vs. wild I would save those skins and eat them damn things he sure gets a lot of them and there skins are so nice and i just so happen to have the chemicals needed to tan them also once in a while i get some road kill snakes that are not to ground up and not rotten at all good times when that happens i figure i am saving that snake to be a part of somethong it would never have dreampt of but, I don't eat road kill anything,sorry I am a filthy swine that werx but i don't eat like one skinny swines rule

Snakes are good eatin', but i hate em with a passion.Can't even stand to look at em in the zoo in glass cages, just gives me the shivers.
OH.....and I WILL go outta my way to run over the bastards if they on the road.
