Cop vs Lawyer

A lawyer runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a NYC Police Officer. He
thinks that he is smarter than the Police Officer because he is a lawyer and is
certain that he has a better education than any Police Officer . He decides to prove this to himself and have some fun at the Police Officers expense.

The Police Officer says," License and registration, please."

"What for?" says the lawyer.

The Police Officer says, "You didn't come to a complete stop at the stop sign."

Then the lawyer says, "I slowed down, and no one was coming."

"You still didn't come to a complete stop, Says the Police Officer License
and registration, please."

The lawyer says, "What's the difference?"

"The difference is you have to come to complete stop, that's the law.

License and registration, please!" the says Police Officer

Lawyer says, "If you can show me the legal difference between slow down
and stop, I'll give you my license and registration; and you give me the
ticket. If not, you let me go and don't give me the ticket."

"That sounds fair. Please exit your vehicle, sir," the Police Officer says.

At this point, the Police Officer takes out his nightstick and starts
beating the ever-loving shit out of the lawyer and says, "Do you want me to stop, or just slow down?"

Just like a stupid lawyer...

Re: Cop vs Lawyer

Reminds me of the prominent New York lawyer that decided to do some bird hunting down in Louisiana. Guess he had shot a bird and it fell on some fenced off property that had a sign that stated No Trespassing. The lawyer decided to ignore the sign and climbed over the fence to grab the bird when out of no where the owner of the property (An old farmer) pulled up on his tractor. The farmer told the lawyer that he was trespassing and to leave immediately without the bird. The lawyer explained who he was and threatened to sue the farmer. The farmer just laughed as he explained that while in New York people may settle disputes in court, in Louisiana they settle thing with the three-kick rule. The lawyer looked puzzled and so the farmer went on to explain that each person gets an opportunity to kick the other person three-times until someone gives up. The person who gives up is of course the loser. The lawyer being a much larger and much younger man than the farmer figured this would be an easy win for him and so agreed to it. No sooner had the farmer climbed down from the tractor that he walked right up to the lawyer and kicked him in the groin. The lawyer fell to the ground and so the farmer landed his second kick right up side the lawyer’s head causing the lawyer to spit out a couple teeth. The farmer then delivered his third and final kick to the lawyer’s side causing the lawyer to start coughing up blood. Amazingly the lawyer (Moaning in pain) was still conscious and rose to his feet, looked the farmer right in the eyes and said now it is my turn. At this point the farmer says OK I give up you win you can have the bird.
