Re: Some cool vintage pics
Very cool, Kev, love the classic pics. Will try to dig up some more pics of my dad on his Beezer from the 60's - hope you are feeling better, take it easy.

Ya even got an Atlantic City, NJ cop on a UL. Wonder how he kept his hat on and where is his eye protection?

Re: Some cool vintage pics
Virg here; Big D said I should post some of my old pics. These were some of my Grand Dad's early bikes. They were taken some where between 1925-1934; most were his a couple may have been some of his friends rides.
The first is Grand Dad - Mack Sherman, my mother on the tank, 1926
Mack in the side car with his sister and cousin
Taken about 1925 - solid wheels
Taken about 1926 - wires
Taken 1933 - Grandma Vi 1933 HD with factory side car, this bike was cream and royal blue, they bought it new.
A friend of Mack's; note sprung rider seat on back!
Although all pictured were HD's Grand Dad later rode Indians... That's all I remember when I was a kid at his workshop, and they were beautiful.
Hope you enjoy!

Re: Some cool vintage pics
Great old photos. Here a couple from the family archives. My Dad's '29 cammy Norton. My uncle is sitting on the bike.

My aunt on a flat tank Norton. Not sure when it was taken. Presumably early 30s.
 [/IMG]
Despite this being in color I think it qualifies as a vintage photo. It was taken 33 years ago on a vintage run in Ireland. The bikes are all vintage. Left to right. '32 Rudge 250, '29 Scott 500, '36 DKW 350, '37 Norton International, and an age unknown M21 with a '26 Hughes sidecar. It was a great day. The club that put the run on had a time schedule that we were supposed to keep to. Too many pubs on the way. We were supposed to arrive at 2:30 in the afternoon but we didn't get there until after 8 that evening.
