opps i did it again

did it again couldnt help myself. found this yamaha think its a 250 1981 no.jy6107368 traveled 60 miles to get it no paperwork as is $50.00 i oftered $20.00 and told him it cost me $30.00 in gas hense price of $20.00 what a deal i think. well anyone know what i got here im not sure , how can u tell by looks if its 2stroke or 4 and did i do good ?

Looks like a 4 stroke, might need a little air in that front tire.

4 stroke. See the circle on the head? thats the overhead cam. $20? I wonder what parts will cost to get it running. Hope you have good luck finding the parts you need.

well got it running all i did was take the carb apart clean it up put a battery in and blam started up now im fixing the two flats it has, then the hard part maybe im not sure ive never done this before, go to dmv and get a lein sale on it. any help on what i need . i talk to dmv all i have is the vin,# fram and motor are the same which is good the worse that could happen is the last reg. owner could reclam it, dmv said last time it was reg. was 1998 so will see , all go's ok i have this little japbike to get around in till i rebuild my triumph's motor,
