That has to be trick photography, it's not raining. Looks like your having too much fun.

Funny you should say that. On the way up we rode through CT's worst rain in the history of recorded time. First time since '88 I didn't make it in a day. I woulda kept going cause I couln't have gotten any wetter, but cars were at a standstill and the shoulders were 5' wide & 4" deep on both sides. Stayed at the Stamford Motor Lodge till it let up. By the way, if you're ever going through CT and need a place to crash, the Stamford Motor Lodge on I-95 AIN'T IT! Calling it a filthy shit-hole would be an insult to filthy shit-holes the world over.
Anyhow, it did rain some up there, but we still got some good riding in.

Re: Laconia '09

Laconia is one of those places I should have gone to back in the 60's when my buddies raced Ariel single 350's and 500's up there serveral times a year but I wasn't big on crowds even back then. I have been to Myrtel Beach twice and Wildwood of course and I think if you've seen one you've seen them all. Trying to make the Smokeout again this year but it is looking less and less likely but if I do that that will be my big shindig for the year.
