crazy frank rear fender

ok you had to be around choppers in the late 60 and early 70 to know about this thing. It was called a Crazy Frank self supporting rear fender. kind of a king/queen step up seat and short sissy bar/tail light all built into 1. I am looking for a seat to one. i found the fender but the seat is gone. it can be in need of repair but i would like to have the seat pan at least. any one know of one out there?

I remember them well as the bike above is mine. They were made to bolt on to HD swingarm frames. I made my frame around the Crazy Frank mounts so if and when I build me another HD the fender will still bolt right on to it. I do have the original seat that came with it. It would definitely need to be redone although it is all in one piece without tears in the cover, Just doesn't look real nice. Contact me if your interested in it.

No problem bro I love the hardtail look myself, although with the big twin rear shocks on it I might as well be ridin a hardtail. I had a hardtail years ago when I lived in Fla where the roads are much better than the ones here in Missouri, plus i was only in my 20's then. Sent you a reply email on your pm.

Wow, I used to have one of these on my '79 Fat Bob Super Glide. I still have pictures of it. I loved this set-up. Mine was the 2 piece seat with the flat steel sissy bar. I dropped the shocks back on the swing arm a couple inches & it sat like a hard tail. Real cool. These used to be sold in Jammer catalog & by ol' Frank himself. Crazy SOB. These were called The Rear Connection. Thanks for the memories.

Re: crazy frank rear fender

I missed this one, any pics would be appreciated, I'm going to try and make one.

Seen one back in the day in Jammers handbook and always wanted one.
