I have a set of sporty heads, they need to be cleaned up and reworked: but the price is right. These are very experienced heads. I believe that they are off a 76 model. You would need to check and see if they fit your years. Trashy_biker

If they are both 1000cc (which they should be)
It will work
If I remember right, The sportster went to 1000cc displacement in 1970.
I had a 1971 xlch that I put 1976 jugs and heads on in the mid to late 80's with no problems at all.

I belive it is a 900cc. I have to do some homework. from what i have found they did go to the 1000 in 1971 and the motor is ( I think) a 1970. so I think it is a 900.

what do you have to have for the heads? I think they will work. even if they don't and the price is right "parts is parts".

I have the bare heads and a set of rocker box covers. I need $50.00 US plus shipping if you are interested. Trashy_biker.
