Re: My Trike

Thanks chief, actually it is pretty sturdy frame, because of the boxed frame, and the bottom section is sheeted with 1/8 plate. Yea the color makes it stand out. Been thinking of changing the color, but mama likes it. Got to keep her happy she lets me have all my toys...LOL

Re: My Trike

This winter I am going to tear down the trike and repaint it. What is everyone opinion, Should I keep it the same colors and just change the design a little. Or should I change the color all together.

Thanks for the opinions.

Does it need paint? I think the color and the scheme work very well for that trike.

Re: My Trike

I agree, I think it works well together....I'm just not a big fan of yellow.

How about white, and then lay on some of those good looking flames you do in purple.

Purple is my fav color......they say it's a sign of royal blood somewhere in your heritage.....yea....whatever.....I digress.....SORRY!!

Re: My Trike

If ya really think it needs to be repainted I would stick with the yellow. Bikes kind of take to the color and changing it often changes the bikes personality. Besides then you would have to change the color on the paper work with the MV department in your state. We all know what a pain in the butt that is.

And what are you gonna do with those matching yellow shirts if ya change the color of the bike?

Re: My Trike

Well it looks like the majority rules, mama says it should stay Yellow. So I will just take it down and repaint the frame and touch up everything else and let it go at that.

The only reason I want to repaint it is the frame paint did not harden for over a month. It was soft to the touch, not enought hardener I guess. All the road grime is actually embeded in the paint and some parts look like crap.
