Tearing the pan back apart to work on the frame and get it ready for paint. Trying to finish a couple other small projects as well. Rainy and cold here, so no riding. bummer !!

Re: Whats up this weekend?
After three fiful attempts (there ought to be a book out called "how to lift and strap a Dyna for dummies") and a week of swearin' at it, I'm wrenchin' on the Superglide.
First stop: Buckhorn off; ape on. I'm drilling the bars to run the switch wire internally... keep it as clean as possible.

Be safe out there. I'm sure no one is looking for bikes to be out.
By the way, I never thanked you proper for the P- pad. So,
THANKS MAN !!!!!!!!!
That was way cool of you to hook me up like that. Your one of the rare breeds left.
Thanks again.

Rain, Rain, Rain. Leaky roof in shop, everything is getting wet. Wind blew all the tarps off my outdoor garages. Messy, Messy.

Re: Whats up this weekend?
Big D, there is an adapter made to lift the FX's. My buddy has one, he runs the bike up on some blocks cause with the adapter the lift won't fit under the bike. It takes some thinking but once it is worked out it works like a charm. The blocks are made from four layers of 3/4" plywood, one block for each wheel and one for the kick stand made from five layers so the bike stands up straighter.
I was supposed to go to the NYC motorcycle show over in the Jacob Javits Center but everyone else had to work so I decided to save my money. Just as well, went to a beer tasting Friday night and our designated driver took off without us and we had to find another way home. So I got in late.
