What's up?

Well we finally warmed up to a balmy minus 16 so I think I will fire up the furnace in the shop and tinker a little. When it is minus 40 and such I have no desire to work in the shop, furnace works overtime but now with this heat wave I can get back out there. Whats your weekend plans?

Re: What's up?

I am going to keep plugging away on the Shovel, hopefully getting some more done. I got so many projects i need to finish something, so I can get started on something else. Its in the high 40's outside and the sun is just coming out.

Re: What's up?

Well, my Mom (She's 91) has been in the hospital, so that's put a halt to man-cave things. I DID get out to finish polishing some items...

Here's the fork sliders. (Uhhh that ain't chrome, that's bare aluminum!)

Next step- inner primary comes off for the belt change...

Re: What's up?

NYC motorcycle show at the Javits center friday. It was great going on a week day not long lines (that's one good thing about retirement). The 18 bucks to get in was a bit of a turn off and they are doing some kind of construction on the Javits which chopped the show into two rooms but they gave the show a lot of room this year. Was some very interesting stuff there. I took a lot of pics and will post sometime in the future.

Saturday, shoveled snow, only an inch, not worth getting the new snow blower out for, the wife and I baby sit the grand daughter, I did some grocery shopping then I had all the kids over and I cooked dinner for them. Tough crowd to cook for, ones a vegeterian, one won't eat olives and ones allergic to nuts so finding one thing to cook was a bit of a hassle.

Todays Sunday and I have no idea what's on the agenda for today. Maybe, if I get really bored, I'll watch football - maybe not.
