Well I am on vacation and have been tinkering around the house and yard and believe it or not I am getting stuff done! If this is a preamble to retirement, I am diggin it! Today I went with the kid to pick up his new hockey skates, $500 for a pair of skates, where did the good old days go? Then we went out for breakfast and then went and I grabbed a few new CD's and we did a little shopping. Came home and tinkered in the yard a bit more then went for an hour long lil nappy. Life is good........

Well my day was not quite so expensive. Got up had breakfast, jumped in the car and went to a friends house and picked up'ed some parts for the dune buggy. Came home and had some lunch, and took a nappy, to quote kevin. Now that it's cooler I am going out and work on the dune buggy....Well maybe have dinner first, then a nappy again...lol

$500 for skates - that's not what retirement is going to be like. When your retired your be cuttin up old motorcycle rims for the kid to use as skates and tellin him backin my day ----------yadda yadda yadda.

Well today I put the bearing and seals in the Dune buggy, changed out the dual Kadrons and put on a pic 34-3 Carb on it. Should do a better job on the Dune Buggy. I am going to put the Kadrons on my Trike, Make is go faster... I built a false tank for a friend to put his gages in. Use a old honda tank and hollowed it out and built a panel out of 12ga metal.. tomorrow will prime and paint...
