Great, Kev... Got some 13" apes and a new set of foam grips for the Superglide (so far). Pretty quiet here Christmas day... son Aaron is in Jamaica on his honeymoon, so our family gig with the kids is this Sunday.

After 34+ years of marriage, we tend toward the goofy and impractical, so I got her a popcorn popper...

This thing works great!

She got me a huge model of a navy frigate, after hearing I was a modeler as a kid. It's pretty cool!

(I didn't tell her tho, that I may have to buy one of those magnifying ring lights to see all the intricate parts... and stock up on Advil for the arthritis in the hands!)

I love that popper.

I got a wall hanging for my den, Bruce Lee "Enter the Dragon", it's very cool.
Got the wife the zebra stuff she's been wanting for her car....seat covers, steering wheel cover, seat belt pads......yea.......I don't drive her car much.

Re: Well, How was your.......

Was a slow relaxing day here. One kid had to go north to the (future) inlaws house the other had to work so the get togther part will be next Saturday. So, so far I've got nothing.

Big D, for a heart patient, a pop corn maker and a ship model, are you sure the OL isn't trying to kill you off in a socailly accepted manor. Stress and high fat popcorn, if she buys you a kick start only Sporty for news years, you should maybe think of leaving the house. Has she increased you life insurance lately?

And oh yeah I have one of those light rings with the magnifying glass in it and even with that I sometimes have trouble seeing.

Au contraire Mutt... butter flavored peanut oil for this rig... not the hydrogenated lard-looking shit that's in the micro-wave bags... I figure with this thing, I'll live forever!

Nice score D, you'll have to hook me up with some when I come pick up your bike. LOL
The wife and I decided not to do the gift thing this year as money was tight. We agreed to just make the kids and grandkids happy and that was our gift this year. Turned out pretty good as I never know what to get her. She's to hard to buy for. She loves the simple things in life, guess that's why I love her so much. She's not high maintnence.
Hope everyone had a good Christmas and wish nothing but the best for everyone for the new year.

Yep, I have a high end pair for at work but for around the shop I go to the dollar store and buy like a dozen at a time, 2x, 3x, I am ready for anything. I find when I weld I need atleast a 2.5x and then I can see no problem.
