So, what up....

...do tell. Well it looks like the summer is gone and the dreaded winter is just around the corner! Getting the shop cleaned up for another blitz this winter. Ran cable line out there so now can catch all the hockey games whilst I tinker. Whats your winter project plans?

Re: So, what up....

Still have to finish putting in the pavers for the patio. Still got the CB400 to finish up, then move on to the XT600, plus I want to redo the V this winter.

If I can get the doc to get my meds straightened out so my head doesn't spin every time I switch positions or turn, I'll be in good shape.

Re: So, what up....

I have two projects started but one I can't decide if I should restore or customize and the other is hung up on paper work which I am trying to work out. The first, a 65 Triumph 500 has butchered fenders, wrong headlight and a missing tach so if I can find the fenders, headlight and tach I will restore cause from what I can see very few 500 Tigers were actually made in 65 and very few imported into the US. I did find that Bob Dylan, Arlo Guthrie and Ann Margret all had 65 500 Tigers but it is difficult to find info on them.

The second is a 47 UL Flathead that I have just anbout everything I need but the paper work. I am working on that through a source in Florida. I am determined to get one of them done this winter but when it is really cold it is hard to work in the garage - it feels like Canada in there and I want it to feel like Florida.

It should be an interesting winter.

Inside my shop in the winter feels like Florida but when you open the door and step out it feels like the fucking North Pole, oh wait a minute, it is the North Pole.....or atleast damn close!

Re: So, what up....

my project list includes painting pipes on my sporty, and rewiring the trike again.....the coil wire fried itself and damaged a few others in the harness.

shit happens this time it will be done to meet my expectations, rather than just good enough to run.
