OK, all you boomer music lovers...

...got a quiz for ya... Remember Wayne Cochran and the C.C. Riders???

YouTube Video

What a hoot! Wayne would play all over the place... Got into the 67 Supper Club in Muncie Indiana and saw Wayne with my bro, before they threw me out (underage)

I never got to see the Godfather of Soul, James Brown. If he was the hardest workin' man in show business, then Wayne Cochran was #2!

My brother (who wouldn't miss him) said Wayne would ride his sportster up on stage... the grand entrance!

Sorry Big D, don't remember him, I think I would remember that hair-do and I used to watch Jacky Gleason all of the time, he was a fantastic pool player. The guy is kinda like a white James Brown but without all the talent. Get a kick out of the way his lower body almost moves independently of his upper body.

Also rarely do I like a brass section with my rock and roll, few can pull that off, he didn't.
