Nice!

Hey guys, been a while since I've been around.
This past season (Aug. 1) I run across a 08' Ultra, Sunglo in color. If i was ever going to move from the color black, this was the color to do it. Bike had "38" miles on her and I got a decent deal on it. Was told it was a corporate display bike...whatever that pans out to be.
So, 8500 miles later I've managed to plop on some Rinehart true duals, a SE A/C kit and purchased a TTS Mastertune for it. Did several tuning runs in the 35* weather as winter was coming and got her tuned in good.
Can't beat the thing for trippin comfort...and kept my 99' Roadstar for when i want a raw thumping n loud fix.
This winters taking it's toll on my therapy ride sessions and thought i would come back in here to see what's up. Wow, I see a good bit of changes for what appears to be for the better. I liking it so far and hope to get back in and spend some more time checking it all out.
Nice Job!
Till then...
peace

Re: Nice!

Sunglo, looks red to me and that's my favorite color of bike that I can't have. Nice ride and nice pics but that snow is nothing for Michigan, just a dusting. We got 34" here at the Jersey shore (we've never had that kind of snow before) and the plows didn't reach us for 3 days. Good part is the piles of snow are so high, they will probably be there until July so we are planning to use them as beer coolers when we're out doing yard work.

Thanks Kg, diggin the color too... it has i guess you would call it "pearl"? pinstriping that changes from black to another shade of red depending on how the sun hits her. Winter came in like a lamb this year and many of the southern states got our storms. No wish to catch up to you guys in that regard...lol
We got a break this weekend and I managed a whopping 50 mile jaunt of much needed therapy rollin!

Thanks Mutt! Red + Gold Flake = Sunglo i guess. In the sun it really bursts in color (can't tell via camera shots) and in the shade it takes on a deep dark wine color. I like it.
What the heck is that machine with a chord running to it? Looks like an electric broom? I know you guys got plummeted this season. Unfortunately, it's typically like that for us most the winter. That snow spitter would die quickly here...lol

It hit 40* Friday, and the salt water was gone from the roads given the winds were 30mph most the day. Made for a sweet winter ride treat.

Electric broom is what they were marketed as 20 years ago, now I think they call them an electric snow shovel. Mom bought it for me cause she said I was getting to old too shovel snow. Works great on dry snow, will throw it almost 20 feet.

We normally have so little snow in this area I stuck the thing away in a shed and almost forgot I had it. last two years it has been getting a work out. It is making some funny noises now but it keeps working. I scared when it goes, I will too.
