New Digs
Holy cow, I cant believe how time flies. Have'nt been on here for what I thought was a few days. Man, it's really been awhile. But I do have an excuse, kinda. LOL We are moving the shop !!!!!!!! Found a super new location for it. We are out growing this one, so , as I was driving home from town ( read beer run ) about 3 weeks ago. I spotted a for rent sign on a building on the corner of 2 major highways. I'm thinking, that would be a killer spot for the shop. Every new customer that has been coming in say's the same thing. ( I did'nt even know there was a bike shop here ) So, I called the owner of the building and after playing phone tag with each other for a week, I finally get to check the place out. Hmmmm, needs alot of work, but the loacation !!!!! It has 3 buidlings on it. Small one in the front could be the temporary store front, hmmmmmm, needs some work but the location !!!!!!! ok, second building used to be a house. The way it's set up would make a killer retail store and offices upstairs. WOW!!!!!!! Needs a ton of work !!!!!!!!!!!!! But the location !!!!!
The 3rd building is a pole building that the old man used to build custom cabinets in. It's 35 x 60 and has 3 rooms added to the rear of it. Ok, does'nt need a ton of work but still needs some work. Talk to the owner back and forth for another week, man, this alone is wearing me out. We finally agree on price, terms, lease agreement. Finally came to an agreement. Now we have to wait on the lawyers to draw up the paperwork. Damn, they sure take their sweetass time. No wonder they make so much damn money. anyways, we finally signed all the paperwork last week. alright, enough rambling. We've been working our ass's off and have a projected opening date of july 24th. We are planning on partying our as's off and anyone that can make it is welcome to come. The main retail part will not be ready untill spring of 2011, but we can more than accomedate al your needs. So, here's an open invitation to all my bikersforum.net brethren. We will also be unveiling some new parts of ours. Now if I can just get hooty to bring his bike down and show it off, we will be having a few bikes coming home and quite a few other surprises. hoping to get some of our more famous custom builder friends to join us too. The new shop is located at 7252 State Rd. 28 West, Elwood, Indiana 46036. Phone # is the same / 1-765-552-1707 . Let me know if anyone needs a place to crash or any help at all. Hope to see alot of you guys here. Pics will be posted in a couple days. Let my camera there. DUH !!!!!

Glad to see that someone is actually still moving forward, with the economy such as it is. Good luck with your endeavors, and may you be blessed with safety, happiness, and prosperity.

Re: New Digs
Hey, Mike! Your first customer was here! Sumbitch beat on the door for 20 minutes!
Yup, it's going to need a little work, but you are right: What a location!
This is going to be ideal!

Re: New Digs
Dang, beat me to the pics. LOL What time were you there D ? Must have just missed ya. I was there mowing earlyer. Then had to come home and weedeat. Man, I hate yard work. But the wife wont let me out of it. She thinks the only reason I'm moving the shop is so I can have another party. hmmmmmmmm, she may have caught on. We will be working on it all this week and hopefully start moving in next week. Have lots to do. I've been taking my mower over in the shop trailer to get a little curiosity going. My brother stopped by and was counting the bikes that went by and after about 15 minutes, his reaction was DAMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 30 freakin bikes in fifteen minutes !!!!!! Yep, heavily traveled. Here's a couple more pics. Hope some of you guys can come by. Trying to get a charity ride set up. Any ideas D ? You seem to be quite the traveler lookking thru those badass apes. Drop by sometime this week if your interested in participating. Anyone else that has any ideas are welcome to pitch in also. old tin rods has been hard at work on his ratrod truck, maybe he will have it there. Will also have a bike show, and maybe a bikini bike wash. wooohoooo !!!!!!! I will be working on a trophy for the winner of the bike show. Should be pretty cool. Trying to line up a band and a tattoo artist. Ok, I'll quit blabbering and get to the pics.

Thanks Kev. I'll have a little more time to hang out here after the move. Hired a young gun the other day so it should help lighten the load. He's actually a little badass. i have'nt found anything he can't do yet, except paint. Also hired a gal to run the office and retail stuff. She's a hellion herself. First day in she got me hooked up as a dealer for 5 different company's and seems like every other day she is having me sign papers to be a dealer for another comapny. I'm very fortunate to have these two. Gives me a ton of free time to work. You have anymore vacation time left ? You should ride down and hang out for a couple days.

Re: New Digs
Het mutt, if I were to move out of state, it would have to be south. Freakin winters tear me up. must be the old age catching up. LOL
Thanks Bill SC. Feeling pretty blessed right now. Seems like things are moving along pretty good. Hopefully we keep moving in this direction and maybe put a little life back into this little town.

Re: New Digs
[/ATTACH]Here's a sneak peak at some parts we designed and are going into production this week. The kicker pedal pic is a design we are doing on pegs and shift linkages. We will also offer a bicycle style kicker pedal with a smaller version of this on both sides. Should have it done later this week also. Shoot me some feedback wether it be good, bad , ugly. Does'nt matter as long as it's honest. Thanks guys.
Sorry about the pic. I'll try and get some better shots of this and other parts later.
