Re: I think I found my next Bike

I like the old Brit one lungers but those are made in India and I have never heard anything good about them. And they are fairly expensive. It's your choice but I would look into it alot before I bought one.

I love the way they look, but I've not heard anything good about them yet.

Re: I think I found my next Bike

Read alot of reviews on them when they first started to show up in the US. Then they were just called Enfields as there was a patent / copy right conflict with the name Royal Enfield, apperently they cleared that up. All those early reviews were bad. I think English Don (of Iron Horse fame) did an extensive road test and had a lot of problems. I have not see or heard of any reviews or road test on the bike recently but rarely hear of anything good about stuff manufactured in India.

Re: I think I found my next Bike

A few years back I met a man here in my hometown with one and he was very happy with his bike. On the down side, I have never seen him or the bike again. Maybe it fell apart on him.LOL

Re: I think I found my next Bike

All the reviews I can find on the internet of the newer models are good reviews. I'd like to find someone who's owned one for a while and see what they think.
