The Hawks are back...

Each year after they harvest and flood the rice fields the migrating ducks and geese return. Well along with them come the birds of prey. Usually on the trip to town during the rest of the year we may see 3 or 4 hawks on the 21 mile ride into town.

Well now that the waterfowl have returned we are seeing 10 to 20 a day when we go to town. I started carrying my camera with me again. Here is one I took yesterday. I will post more to the thread as I take them...

cool shot u took there roger, that a coopers or a red tail? i use to have a paiket falcon long time ago . was real smart buddie and ive raized a ravern once from baby still had fussie fur , mother got zapped by power lines he would follow me around like my dog does . let him roam the block and i could call and he would land on my arm. and i guess he had harmones get to him one day he was gone ( prob hook up with some fine "chick" and made change of address like he's daddy does on ocasion.


i dig critters more then people most the time! more pics please............. might we have more? we all would like more sir.........lol
