Great ride/Great bike!
BF members Fisherman (left) me (2nd. left) and Hooty (4th left) got a great 400+ mile ride in Saturday with some friends of Hooty's. The monster-motored bike pictured here started out life as a Road King. The owner/builder is Richard Easter (3rd. left) This rocket runs as good as it looks.
No, we didn't go to Stonehenge... that's the H-D dealer in Bloomington, IN
Those are Cadillac LED taillights frenched into the rear fender. Pic's do not do this bike credit.

Here's what Hooty's Rigid looks like.... this week!
Important safety tip: Don't follow Hooty into (or out of) a gravel parking lot.

Re: Great ride/Great bike!
Wow, a lot of detail in the Road King. It has a lot of things I don't care for on a bagger like the skinny 21" front wheel, extended headlight, beach bars and tail draggin rear fender and bags but the whole package works well together. Good lookin bike, he must have a good eye for what works well together.
Nice to see Hooty's bike up and running. I enjoyed following his build thread on that.

Mutt, Richard lets the air shocks down when parked... she hikes her skirt to scoot... and scoot she does.

Re: Great ride/Great bike!
Great ride Saturday...had a blast!! Richards Road King is the cats pajamas, what you all don't know about that bike is....The headlight was made by the owner, those bags and fenders made by the owner, those front fender mounts made by the owner, those cadillac lights frenched by owner, that air ride system worked and installed by owner....that's not a cookie cutter bought from a magazine or off of ebay bike, lot of work into that...also the paint was done by the owner....it's apple candy over shimrin silver on top while the sides are brandywine over gold...it's called BrandyApple. I totally dig it because it IS a true owner built custom!
440+ miles on the rigid with a 14hr day of ridin makes for one good Saturday! Potholes on the rigid frame = not ass friendly at 75 mph....it's like riding a very pissed off bull with a bi-polar disorder. Dave and his boys from work fit right in this group like they had ridden with us forever, bike ran good all day long with the exception of a leaky oil line fitting...but not a big deal. I think there were probably 10-12 guys in the group and what a lovely sound that makes leaving a stop.....with the occassional burnout and tire skiddin...like we were 10yrs old!
Dave my friend I am so glad you got to go and share some road with us....u are always welcome to come up here and tear up the road with us! Let's not forget to mention this group had it all....custom built road king, custom heritage, custom vw trike, D's custom superglide, old finicky shovelhead, rigid chopper and ages from 40-70...it was a Motley Crew!
One more thing before y'all get bored from readin all this....3rd gear sucks ASS!! I think D knows what i'm sayin. ;-)
