Gotta vent or I might blowup!!

Well, I just got screwed by a man I have called Brother for years. He's also a family member. It's always a letdown when this kind of thing happens.I stood beside this POS and spent many hours helping with his bike, his Blazer, and everything else. In all this time I have never asked this Scumbag for anything, till now. I just bought another bike and I need to go pick it up. It's in Colorado Springs,(500 miles from here). I asked my BROTHER if we could hop in his pickup and go get it. The answer I got was he didn't want to put the miles on his truck. My friggin head almost blew up. It's a damn good thing this POS wasn't within arms reach or I would have done something we both would have regretted.I'm so fucking pissed off my hands are shaking. Needless to say, I told him how much of a lowlife scumbag he is and to expect to be treated with nothing but total disrespect. I apologize for this rant,but I just wanted to get this off my chest. When I call a man Brother,I fucking mean it. I will do just about anything for a Brother. Am I wrong? Thanx for letting me blow off steam.

Totally know how you feel. I'm always willing to help out a friend, but it seems like when I need help there's always an excuse. I understand about bad timing and all that shit, but if I can drop what I'm doing to help a friend in need, I do it. I've got just 1 friend that is always a possibility if I need help, but even then it's hit and miss. Everyone else has got to have a week or better advance notice....WTF?

I still consider them friends but everytime I tell them I did something that I really needed help with and they say,"Why didn't you call?"....I wanna just scream "Cuz you always have a fucking excuse!!!!"

Gotta say there are only a few people I can ask for help even though I freely give it to freinds all the time. The people I can count on for stuff like this are my kids and a buddy that I have known since the 60's. People who are always asking for help never want to give it and I now avoid those people cause I have to much work of my own to do.

One X-freind who was poor all of his life, lied to me, stole from me and always was asking for a hand and would never return a favor came into some money and now won't even talk to me or any of his other "poor friends" anymore and won't even return a phone call - fuck him. I've learned.
