All in all, a good day...

Well, Hooty and I have griped about east central Indiana being the armpit of the universe...? There are some stunningly beautiful parts of Indiana, and some interesting roads...

Today, I got out for a little cruise, the weather being unusually fine, with temps around 60.

Thought I'd show you some of the scenery around the Muncie/Anderson/Elwood/Marion area. Truly scenic vistas...

"D? Is it just all cornfields?" You ask. Oh, heavens, no! Look beyond my bike there... beyond the cornfield. That's a harvested soybean field!

Welcome to our world!

Re: All in all, a good day...

The cool thing about this ride was hooking up with my pal, co-worker and riding buddy Fish... he just took delivery on a spankin' new Road King. Here's the first photo-op stop. Jon's RK odo said 000014.

I want one!

Cool Big D. You managed to find a soy bean field in amongst all that corn. Are you sure you didn't cross the boarder?

Glad to see your feeling well enough to get out on the bike. Are you all good as new or just getting by?

Fish's RK is a really nice ride, hope he enjoys it.

Good as new, Mutt! The last two things that came roaring back, were 1) my appetite, and 2) my libido.

I'm in heavy negotiations with the significant other on point #2.

(Currently, talks have been stalled, while both sides decide on the size and shape of the bargaining table)

Some of you older guys will get this...

My Superglide looks a bit anemic to a King o' the Road, doesn't it?
