Re: Welcome Biker Joe
Hello, Thanks for the welcome.
I know one of your members, Big D (Hello Big D). He asked me to take a look. I checked out the forum today and registered. So here I am.
I'm retired after 40 years of trucking. After I retired I worked for a Harley dealer in the area. I worked in the parts department with the hope of working in the shop but the economy tanked. The store had to let me go.
Since last year I've been trying different things in order to supplement my pension.
I have a Harley Blog that I try to add Posts as often as I can. I still want to work on bikes so I started a motorcycle detailing service, back in April. I would like to repair them but because of the liability issues and insurance costs, I don't think so. So far everyone is happy with my detailing. I hope next year I get repeat business and many more new customers.
My first Harley was a 1968 Sportster. I sold it in 1974. I now own a 2004 Dyna, FXDX. It doesn't even look like an FXDX any more as you all can see in my photos. I got the bike new for a good price and I just didn't like the dirt bike look so I made the scoot my own.
Here are a few photos of the scoot.
