an old guy that is new

I am new here I have lurked for a little bit trying to find a new home. This place seems to be cool. I have been shunned away from many other forums because of my love for the jap chops I make. I do everything from modifying the frame, making my own seats, paint, welding, saddle bags, tool bags, anything leather, I love to do as much as I can. I currently have seven bikes all japs an 88shadow 600 vlx slammed and semi modified, and 82/86 night hawk 450 totally changed into a chop of a different flavor , 3 cb750 sohc one done one almost done and one waiting to be done, an 80's honda ascot waiting to be done, my long bike is an xs 650 honda necked 30" over girder frame way too high fun as hell to ride contraption, my wife has her 01 shadow spirit 750 vt all paint and leather done by us she cant seem to come over to the dark side and hardtail her bike. We still have her first bike a 02 honda rebel 250 sits and collects dust. Her next bike is going to be one of the cb 750's I have in the waiting mode a 1976 super going to kong it so I will be leaving the shocks on the back for her.

Hey man, I really dig some of that work you have been doing, you got some great talents! All bikes are welcomed here, we shun none! Well ok, maybe the crotch rockets!!! lol Some of the Jap machines make fantastic chop material and I could look at them all day. Infact the truth be known I may have found a jap that I just may play with this winter! You and all your builds are very welcomed here, spread the word!

Crotch Rockets are not my cup of tea! (so to speak) Actually any bike that has a sport bike stance doesn't quite get me excited. I am sure they would scare me with just how fast they can go..... but they just don't seem comfortable to me. They are "cool" but not for me!
