New member from Sacramento

Hi Everyone. Just wanted to say hi.
I live 20 miles east of Sacramento, CA. and my first build is a 6 up 4 out rigid 250 rear, 38 in the neck, 5 in the trees and 12 over.
I am not an experienced builder, but have been a mechanic for many of my years and have been riding for as long as I can remember. I am a graphic designer and am trying to apply that skill to my build.
I will have a ton of questions, and have learned a few things along the way so anytime I can, I will offer my help.
Looking forward to hearing all about everyones builds.

Great looking project, keep us posted on the progress. I live about 50 miles north of you in a small town called Loma Rica. It is 22 miles northeast of Marysville. Welcome to the forum and keep posting..

Re: New member from Sacramento

Welcome,

Big rear tire bike on your first try should have you scratching your head quite a bit. Good luck.

My nightmare is a 47 UL. Been scrounging parts for years and keep changing what I want to do. Keep thinking about the things I have passed up and should have bought.

Re: New member from Sacramento

Thanks to everyone for the kind and challenging words. LOL I will resize a few pics and get them up so you can see my progesss to this point.
The rear tire has not caused to much trouble but my front end has been a headache from the get go. 12 over and way too mush twist. I will post those pics later, I have the new inverted front end on now, Much more stable.
Thanks again.

Welcome to the forum. looks like a great bike your building. headaches are a natural occurance when doin custom stuff. ive got $1000. in wheels i learned to lace only to find i have the wrong hubs so they sit here next to me rather than on my bike.
