mo650chopper Introduction

The link below has some pics of my current XS650 choppers progress as well as some old scooters I've had over the years, road trips, etc. My current ride is a 79 XS650 chopper. I've made and / or designed all the stuff such as the jockey shift, belt drive. Adapted an old Smith Brothers and Fetro Girder to fit the XS650 wheel with dual disc. Sparay can paint, and other little goodies. This winter I've switched handlebars, headlight. Getting my girder powdercoated and a couple things chromed. Hope to have it back on the road by April. I'll post some more pics when I get it all back together again.

I also have a 78 XS750 triple I got a while back to make a trike out of. I'll be getting on that this summer I hope. Too many fricken projects.

Re: mo650chopper Introduction

I'm in the middle of a few changes on the Xs this winter. Powder coat on the girder and rebuilding the shock for girder. New rear shocks with a spring rate that may actually make move when needed. New headlight, handlebars and exhaust and few other odd chromed and powder coated parts. Will post some pics of the latest bike in a month or so.
