i just recently got into bikes hard and heavy and am loving the piss out of it..i have always had motocross bike and quads but never street bikes.and have found my new love for bobbers,as i just recently bought a 76 cb500t that is hardtailed already but needs some work,,and also have a 92 harley sportster which i am going to buy a hardtailed frame for also..glad to be part of the site..

Welcome to the site. You have a couple of nice bikes there. Interested on what frame you are planning on getting for the Sporty and what your plans are. Swapping frames can make a registration/paperwork nightmare but you can really have a cool bike when your done.

Welcome to the forum from Southeast Ga. I agree with Mutt, nice rides there and also registration can be a nightmare on the frame swap, but if your good with a welder you can get or fab a hardtail rear section and not have to worry about the registration thing.

thanks you guys..i was wanting to just buy a complete frame and have heard this story also about registration..was told i have to take original frame and documents along with new frame to police station and have affidavit filled out and notorized..proving it was stolen..but then again i like the weld on hardtails also but heck a few more hundred dollars i can have a custom frame built..big toss up..this is cool also..thanks..
