Hello from SA

Hello from way down at the end of Africa, not much interest here in choppers, and when I say not much I mean NOTHING!!!!,or if there is,they hiding pretty well.Well I've been thinking about this for longer than I can remember and now I/we(just one other guy I grew up with) started about two weeks ago,I got pics in" photobucket",there is even a vid of her running before I started cutting the frame, and the girders are to spec but just made from material I had on hand so that I could work on the frame, and untill I can afford the correct material.

Re: Hello from SA

Welcome to the forum from New Jersey.

No chopper activity in SA. Well you can change that. I know there are go fast people in SA as a Flathead record was just set by a Guy from SA at the Bonneville Salt Flats. His son talked him into going and set the record on his (the son's) bike. index Paul Freibus owns the shop and the bike and his father Henry set a record - one of them anyhow. Interesting story, you may want to check the link. Hope I remebered the details correctly.
