Exclamation G'day from NZ

Hi all, Mack from New Zealand here. looks like an interesting sorta forum so thought I would sign up and see what is going on.
Been riding for about 26 years and built a few bikes, currently working on a chopper project using a VS1400 as donor bike, love the shaft drive! Still have a lot to do but have been held up due to injury for a few months, will attach a few pics when I get myself sorted.
Looking forward to checking out the site and reading all your experiences.
Cheers
Mack

Talking

Mostly yes, We do have some areas that get heavy snow or ice that makes riding interesting but for most of the country and most of the year we just keep on riding.
That is unless you are a softie girly-man that doesn't like riding in the rain! lol
I just hosted a rider from Seattle the other week and he was going home to -3C I believe, so he wasn't keen to leave as it is nice and warm and sunny down here at present.
Cheers for the welcome

You didn't tell them about the one lane tunnels, or the narrow bridges, etc... I enjoyed my stay in NZ, 3 months back in '99-'00. It was really nice going swimming Christmas day. I really like the freedom you have of distilling your own booze.

Gday Tree, yeah we always leave the specifics of riding here until someone either asks directly or arrives and we know what we're dealing with. There are some really great roads in NZ, just about anywhere you go, it is like the country was designed with us in mind.
Apart from the ignorant cagers of course. lol
Cheers for the welcome Roger
