05 Ironhorse Legend Cutting Off

I AM NEW TO THIS SITE. I HAVE BEEN POKING AROUND VARIOUS FORUMS AND SITES TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS A SIMILIAR SITUATION AS MINE. I HAVE AN '05 AMERICAN IRONHORSE LEGEND CHOPPER. IT HAS HAD PROBLEMS CUTTING OFF AND BACKFIRING INTERMITTANTLY. AIH HAS STOOD BEHIND THE BIKE EVEN BEYOND THE WARRANTY PERIOD. IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH AN AIH BIKE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I WOULD LIKE TO SWAP INFO AND HISTORIES.
THANKS FOR READING THIS, JOE

I have two friends that had similar problems with IH. After alot of checking..one turned out to be a faulty ground cable between battery and engine, the other was fixed when we bumped up the breaker to a 20amp from 15amp on the ignition circut.

Not sure if yours has fuses or breakers. Might be something to check..

Oh, Welcome to the forum and let us know what you find to fix it..gator
