XS

Well, never had a build thread on the bike, and this isn't much, but I will continue to update it when I get some time.

Picked up the bike last year, sitting in some old guys back yard, told me it had been sitting for 15 years.

got her home, tried getting the 1 piston unstuck with some diesel and pressure on the kicker, but nothing would get her to go, so time for the pull down

Pulled her all apart, and everything looked fairly decent, just the piston ring was seized to the cylinder, still couldnt get it unstuck.

Brang the motor over to kgdb's place, he brang out the torches and tools, and we had her out in about an hour or so ( Thanks again kev )

Slowly started buying parts for the rebuild *while I was in school, so it was a long process haha*

then finally got her all together and back into the bike, then decided to buy a house, so the bike got put on the backburner for awhile.

just recently after making some room in my garage, I went back to her, figuring out some wiring and whatnot

Then recently I tried and tried to get her running on the points system, and well me knowing nothing about points didnt help, but I could not do it.

So I said screw it and swapped over to the electronic ignition I had today, and well.. SHE FIRES! I didn't have a gas tank hooked up, just fuel in the cylinders, so it only ran for like 5 seconds, but I'm pretty stoked.

more updates later
