Winter tinkerin....

started on the Dyna today...I forgot how much I love the smell of engine fluid and gasoline!!!!

This HD hasn't had me wrenchin on it like the Triumph of doom did...

Here's the familiar before and during shots...

not going into the motor, so I'll be getting to it as $ allows...

20" apes, 11" shocks, lower the front end, new tires, brakes, and fluids, new..."black label" inspired paint job. Hell, I could have it back on the road in two weeks, but I didn't start saving long enough ago!!!!! I'm photoshopping my own graphics...since no one makes em...and I'm gonna have another dude I know hand paint some JD style pinstriping. I hope it turn out cool.

my buddy is painting it...he painted my Triumph a few years ago, I'm gonna get him to let me help this time!

I told my wife that loud pipes were normal for Harley's....then she heard a stock muffler, and she's been on my ass about it ever since.

I used to start it outside...then I thought it would be quieter if I kept it in the garage...oops...it was rattling the fuckin windows at idle. The wife loves it when she's sleeping!!!!

'bama... from what I can see of the Triumph paint, I'd say your new "ol' no.7" paint will be good!

(Uhh, you may be shocked at this, but I kinda like those flames...)

nah, that's my buddy's ironhead that I'm fixing for him in exchange for him working on one of my AK-47s. Here's the basic black on the trump...and his flamed Softail that he painted

Re: Winter tinkerin....

Hope you remember how to put it back together. Can't wait to see the pictures of it when done.

That is a sharp little ironhead in the back ground. I have had the urge to get one of them and chop it of course. A stock Sporty wasn't good for me but I thinks I could chop it to better suit my 6'4" frame.

got a WCC fender that I have to do a bit of surgery on before it'll fit right...

Got shorter covered shocks on, new tires on, apes and cables will go on during Christmas...

once I get the fender cut and smoothed, it'll be off to paint and DONE!
