super nice shovel

I had to go to KY. to pick this bike up from a customer that is stationed there. He was going nuts dealing with the red frame. LOL Finally he could'nt take it anymore and called me to come and get it. Have a couple of other problems to sort out with it also, but the biggest complaint was too much damn red. Although this is a sweet looking bike. I'd have to agree with him. He's having us paint the frame black, put the electric start back on, and address a couple of other small issues so it will be dependable for his wife to ride while he's deployed to Iraq. It's an honor for us to do this bike and any other bike we can for our servicemen or women. Will keep you guys updated on the progress. Right now, it's all stripped down and frame is going to powdercoat this week. Should be back the first of next week so we can start assembly. Enjoy. ..........WTF ?????why an't I add pics ?????????HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: super nice shovel

I had the pleasure of seeing this fine shovel the other day in the "before" state. Yeah... the frame was a bit different... red and all... but I rode away with the "I want it" disease.

C'mon, Mike... get in the game! Post 'em up!

Re: super nice shovel

Wow, that's red all right. And that seat should go in the garbage too but that's just my opinion and everyone knows what opinions are like.

Don't care for the seat much either, or the grips......but I kinda like the red.

Re: super nice shovel

Actually I think the red might have been ok if all the white stuff was gone. The white on the tank is odd. I do like red bikes but I seemed to wreck them.

Re: super nice shovel

This ones on the home stretch. Our good friend Rick ( G.I. from KY.) told us to take time and go over this one carefully. We are finishing it up next week and I gotta say it's one sweeeeeeettt shovel. We pulled it completely apart, resealed the motor, trans, wheels, frontend, swingarm, new bearings, grease, touched up a few spots on the paint, powder coated the frame black and added some bags for the long haul. We changed out the bars to some moderate apes, rewired the entire bike from headlight to taillight. hid the wiring in the bars, added plugs for the turnlamps wich are hidden behind the headlamp cover so if he ever decides to run them, it's there. I can't wait for this one to be done. I may have to ride it back to kentucky for him. LOL got a couple other projects I'll be posting pics of soon. We've been crazy busy this summer, but things have slowed down a bunch so I'll be around here more annoying you guys. LOL
