Nice stuff there Roger. Those bags look just like the ones on my sons 97 Heritage.

And I hope you have that tool box in the back ground bolted down. With that many large drawers open I hate to see it tumble forward and ruin your new paint job.

Re: Projects.. Really Slow Progress

Finished up making the saddle bag mounts. Got them painted and mounted. Had to relocate the turn signals so I could get the bags to fit.

I added a support to the seat bracket. I think it will work out better. I also had to move one of the coil mounts so that the petcock would clear it. I have dual plugs and am running two coils. Here are a couple of pictures of the progress. I am getting closer to being able to ride the scoot.

The seat pics are a before and after.

Nice job Roger. I really like the way this one is turning out. I dig that paint job also.

Re: Projects.. Really Slow Progress

Thanks its coming along. Need to get some battery cables, throw some oil and primary fluid in it, add dot 5 to the front master cylinder and a couple of other things and I should be ready to ride.

Re: Projects.. Really Slow Progress

Well the tank and instrument panel is installed with hoses and all fittings Seat is all buttoned up and bolted down. Just need some new battery cables and some fluids and I should be done, except for the tuning of the new carb I put on. Changed from a SU to CV, should work well.

Re: Projects.. Really Slow Progress

Well I took it off the lift today. Just a little tuning and I have to replace the turnsignal, horn, start switchs. Two much glue to put new buttons on and screwed them up. Cheep fix, just got to get them.

Well her is a before picture for your comparison.

And here is what she looks like now..

She started right up after putting New Gas, thanks Hawg, in and didn't even have to use the choke. Puked from setting for over a year. But will be on the road shortly..
