My rat cafe........

Been working on a 1980 XS650, making a cafe out of it.
But it wasn't pretty when I got it, missing the sheetmetal and what was there was crusty rusty.
I wasn't going to spend alot of time on it, so I called it the rat cafe.
After the motor fired and ran good, I re-built some wheels off another XS I had.
It's pretty basic but it's supposed to be.
Here is a couple pics of the wheels, a before and after of the rear, and the XS1 drum I re-worked for the front. It was missing a few parts and kinda ratty in a box when I got it.
Nothing exciting, I'll post a couple pics of the whole bike soon.

Well, the shop is to narrow to take a side shot. It's supposed to be nice this week and I'll try and roll it out for a pic.
Just have the tank to clean up, make a seat (got parts from Cheeze for that btw) and finish up the wiring.
I wanna get back to finishing the bobber I was working on berfore this.

Hey enfield, ya they're fun bikes, parts everywhere.
Actually I got 2 and just swapped the wheels putting the aluminums with the 18" rear on this cafe.
The other set is steel with the 16" rear and will go on the bobber. They're coming apart this weekend to be powdered black.
Here is a lousy pic from inside the shop.
I'll try and get a better pic this weekend.
Got the tank off to strip and put some of that red stuff Kev's been talkin about in it. Got it the other day and can't wait to see how it works.

I've always used Kreem and although I haven't had any problems, I've had tanks that were previously done that were delaminating bad.
I'm sure this stuff will work out great. The tech report looks like it's been well tested and hey, it was recommended by you! Can't go wrong, thanks!
