just fired it up last night....burned a few miles on it....got some more in today.....working out any remaining bugs....so far, so good....

not yet....

the apes are not legal, but I've never heard of anyone being hammered because of them. I had to dig to find it, myself. Shit, at 15" above the seat, some stock bikes are illegal.

I was talking to a 1%er one day who was talking about the police dept. in the town I live in stopping him because he had too many rings on his fingers. They told him that there was a weight limit...and they weighed his rings!!!!

I couldn't find that one anywhere in the code....

my guess is, they just wanted to ID him.

It was 14" in Jersey for years and back in the 60's they cracked down really hard on apes. Now half of the cops that ride are runnng 16" apes and the shorter the cop the higher the apes.

I like apes...I could really give a shit what someone is riding and don't fuck with them for it...

there are lines between personal freedom and "safety" that governments are willing to blur. (See, we're not all robots )

...of course I realize that those lines are debatable from now to kingdom come....
