Cheap Chopper

Cheap as hell, needs no license (where I am, but gotta be 12 or older) or insurance. But it's not a real chopper, just an imitation.

NOt so good for the environment with the ebay chinese 2 stroke, but it ain't going to last very long either.

My real project is a 84 Honda VT500 which is a v-twin, water cooled, shaft drive (this will be tricky), 3 valve/cyl, and 6 fwd gear. Very advanced for the day and looks pretty cool as-is. I'd also like to make it Propane (think forklift carb) just to be different and make a bit more power. The tank will be the hardest part of it as a BBQ tank just won't cut it...

i built this about 13 years ago.in true chopper fashion its a 70's Royce Union frame and fork with a 60's Schwinn "Stingray" fender, chain guard and grips from a 26" cruiser.a Ross "Apollo" seat. Columbia pedals and front tire, cool ass old tall sissy bar.lots and lots of "Krylon" spray paint.and some Punk rock spikes.

Re: Cheap Chopper

the motorized bicycles is where i am actually heading off into as my current motorycle chop build will prob be my last one ( due to lack of funds and burnout mode )
plus the demand for motorized bicycles is reaching a higher level now days due to fuel cost . plus as long as one does not go over 30 mph on a motorized bicycle they good to go ( although they wioll often go fasyter) . so being i9n this hellish heat desert one can be ridden year round. no insurenmce needed. so that cuyts cost.

im gathering parts up for a motorized trike bicycle. itll be trick when im down.

and yes i do build ratrod bicycles as my other hobby.

any bicycle can be motorized.

look at this as one example... wish i wouldve had the cashflow to grab it up but didnt at the time...

Re: Cheap Chopper

Is that a modern day Whizzer kit on a sixties Schwinn Stingray bike? I have to admitt I kind of like that. Would be a little small for me.
