81 FLT, have too engine rebuild

Good thing me and my brother finished my build. My brother was on a poker run last weekend and as he pulled out of one of the stops he lost power, now we know why, the rear head is beat up pretty bad and the jug is cracked. The pics are from my cell phone looking down inside the rear just. Piston is beat to death and as you can see there is whats left of the intake valve laying on top of the piston.

Yikes!! not good.
Well, looks like a winter project, huh?

Not that this helps, but my B-in-law sucked a valve into the motor in his minivan drag car...lookin at about 6Gs to get it fixed....and that's just parts and machine shop work, he does everything else.......ouch.

We will have it running before the 22nd of this month, have too, manditory run that our ministry is putting on. Should be lots of fun. Only took less than 3 hours to tear down. Heads, jugs, pistons all at mechine shop already.
