67 & 68 Triumphs

Heres a few of my trump projects. The blue bobber is a '67 and the chop is a '68. The motor on the bobber is the 68 and will end up on the chopper when its done. I started the 68 from scratch, the '67 ive had since 1982 and am just redoing everything since my last rebuild in '97. The 68 is a 650 with a 750 big bore kit that was bored out an extra 20. Builder guestamated it at about 70 hp. I also have nitrous bottles for it. Not sure if ill use them or if the'll be just for show.

Re: 67 7 68 Triumphs

Great looking bikes. I like the way the pipes tuck under the chassis so they don't drag on turns similar to the TT pipes I remember from the 60's only they had turns outs at the end.

I personally would leave the nitros off. I would hate to use it as I think it would be harmfull in the long run and to hang the bottle as a decoration defeats the minimalist approach to choppers and bobbers. But as always, that's my 2 cents, they are your bikes and you should do what makes you happy.

See you have a few HD's in the stable too.

Always nice to see someone fixing up some old brit iron. Rare as hens' teeth around here. Seems everybody has to have a brand new Harley. Keep up the good work!

Forgot to mention, the reason for building the 68 chopper was to win the burn-out contest in Hollister. Thats the reason for the nitrous
